"BRAVO AWARD"
(Art and Cultural Achievement)


The International Institute of Photographic Arts (IIPA) is proud to announce the acceptance into the distinguished Bravo Award (posthumous award), included on the Gayle McCandliss award winners for 2007. The Art And Culture committee at the Council Chamber Hall for the City of Chula Vista has presented this award to Victor Diaz for his dedication and successful effort in embracing the community through art and culture.

The IIPA Gallery is opening its door Saturday May 19 of 2007 from 10:00am to 3:00pm and everybody is cordially invited to enjoy the current exhibit "OCEANS IN TIME". In honor of the late Victor Manuel Diaz, founder of XLNC1 90.7FM Classical Radio Station and The International Institute of Photographic Arts, this exhibition is displaying 20 years of the most captivating of his own personal color photographic works oceans scenery.

Along with this exhibition, the IIPA gallery also houses collections of many world-renowned photographers as Ernst Haas, Harry Callahan and Galen Rowell, compiled during the life of Mr. Diaz. Much of the work has been printed through the now rare process of dye transfer increasing the value of these photographs.

We welcome you and friends to the IIPA Gallery located in a uniquely beautiful area of Chula Vista.
