On the night of a full moon one August, I stared at the Kenyan sky, my eyes dazzled by the planet Mars, closest to the earth in six million years. And as I stood directly on the equator and a lion roared in the distance, I thought of my friend Victor Diaz, the brightest star in my experience with passionate collectors of color photographic prints. Victor’s collection exceeds 3,500 images.
In principle, I am writing this because of one man’s passion and epic photographic accomplishment.
