Linda M. Quigley

Director of Policy and Legal Affairs

Linda Quigley oversees IIPA’s legal affairs, advises on policy development, and advocates before U.S. Congress, executive agencies, and foreign governments on copyright and international trade matters. Prior to joining IIPA, Quigley served as a Senior Director for Innovation and Intellectual Property at the U.S. Trade Representative where she monitored trade compliance and negotiated trade agreements relating to intellectual property rights. Prior to her service at USTR, Quigley was an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where she provided expertise on international copyright law to U.S. and foreign government officials.  In her career, Quigley has also been a trademark examining attorney, an attorney in private practice advising clients on intellectual property law and related matters, and a self-employed editor and writer. Quigley received her J.D. from William & Mary School of Law and a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame.
