The Association of American Publishers (AAP) is the national trade association and principal public policy advocate for the U.S. book and journal publishing industry. It represents large, small, nonprofit, and commercial houses in the education, scholarly, and consumer sectors in the United States on matters of law and policy. AAP advocates for outcomes that incentivize the publication of creative expression, professional content, and learning solutions.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) serves as the voice and advocate for the U.S. video game industry. The Motion Picture Association (MPA) is the voice and advocate of one of the country’s strongest and most vibrant industries – the American film and television sector.
